The money is there, the plans are being made, and I'm nervous like hell... I've mail the irryest list of all times to Erik/QTD, so hopfully the parts are coming soon. The plan is that the car will go to kalmar one way or another, the engine will get torn apart, the crank will get sent away for balancing, the head for rebuild/port job and the inlet manifold for modifying.

The rods have arrived, so now I have rods and injectors... Man, talk about beginning in the wrong end! Now more money is the only thing I need... Will try to find a solution to that in the near future, here we go to the bank!

Now when I'm already working on the irry-site I might aswell write somthing about what happened with the car, I guess it won't take to long, decause it ain't much... Anyways, I went to visit the guys in kalmar between cristmas and new year, and we discussed what should be done to the car. We came to the conclusion that i will get the car down to kalmar sometime this spring, and some guidelines what to do with the car. Well, thats it I guess, apart from that I ordered some Verdi steel rods!

Well, since everybody's is kicking my ass because I haven't updated this page I guess I'll update it then... The car has been to VAG for the ywarly service and they found several faults... For example the car didn't have any inner arch liners in front! No shit . But then there were some stuff that wasn't so funny... One of the shocks isn't mounted right so I guess I'll take a trip to Österlunds to see what they have to say about it. Then the shittiest thing of them all: Overpressure in the cooling system, wich probably means a blown head gasket... So now it's saving-money-time, because you can't just replace the bad gasket, oooh no! Of course i will have to replace the rings, bolts, bearing, etc... Well, to often it gets out of hand! The plan is that the car should be ready before the Emmaboda meet in may 2002. Well, last year i said Emmaboda may 2001 but...aah...

Believe it or not, yesterday I went to work and got the car fixed at some points! Unfortunately I only had one hour since my boss was going to get his car into the place... Anyway I hade enough time to exchange the wire for the electric window and mounting the door panels. Thein I realised why it didn't work the last time i tried.. The pin for the door lock was in the wrong place. I had forgotten that the arm should go thru a hole in the upper door beam that the window are fastened in...

Ok, I think I was a bit too optimistic... Now it's november and the car is still in the garage, nothing became what I expected. The car was left at Öserlunds Motorsport that was going to change the inner wishbone bushes, shocks, springs and brakelines. But ouch... delivery problems ! In the middle of june I finally got all the stuff except the rear wishbone bushes. In september i got som bushes fron KG Trimning that fitted so i returned to Österlunds Motorsport with the car, but Nikke who was going to do the work was sick and couldn't fix it until the end of august. Since then I haven't had the motivation to fix the last things on the car which is replacing the electric window wire for the that broke again when i tried to replace it the last time, mounting the door panels, the front inner arch liners and the side turn signals. As soon as I'm finished the car is going to get a professional polishing and some internal cleaning. So, maybe sometime...

The car got some new paint! Right now it's shining in my garage, feels nice! Now I just have to put everything togeter again and fix some small stuff like the grill, some gaskets, bushes, brake lines, discs and the EBC pads... But yeah, it's getting really nice!

Everything works fine now and I'm taking the whole car apart for the paint job. While doing that i cracked a door trim to the nice price of 1200SEK... I have also bought some screws and clips and other small stuff for about 600SEK, a Frame for the RS2 grille, new wire for the driver's electric window... I'm getting poor! Some new pictures are uploaded to...

I bought the car in december '98. It have been thru loads of shit... Bought it the day before new years eve, bought a pair of 17" Fondmetal on my way home. In february the rear brakes decided to stop working... No fun, but what to do? Answer: empty the wallet!
Later that spring i got a streamer for the windshield, eyelids, kamei grille etc.
In june '99 the mess started again... Got a letter that said that i didn't have a driving licence anymore (ooops!), and this was on the second day of my vacation! I thought that well, then my friend gets to drive it.. So he did. And hit a goddam animal. When it gest bad, it gets REALLY bad. Anyway, the car stood at the repairer's place for two months, and in the meantime Ihad mourned over the car and spent all my money on booze so I couldn't afford to get it running until late december. Of cource with new 16" Bridgestone Blizzak on the std 16" wheels. 15" steel wheels are SO ugly! Then I had SO much fun! 4-wheel drifting in every curve...
During spring '00 I didn't do much more than installing some stereo equipment.
But then a sunny day in june the boost pressure wouldn't get the ordinary way into the engine, so it leaked out somewhere else. My first attempt to locate the problem resulted in a broken hose that costed 1386SEK... That's about 180 bucks! For a bit of hose! Anyway, tried some things but didn't find the leak.
But then, a sunny day (ok, it rained like hell, but sunny looks better ) in october I had some minutes to spear, so i started to rip the hoses apart. And guess what, there was a big leak in the hose between the intercooler and the inlet pipe. Weeee! Found it! Buy a new one from VAG? No way! If it breaks, it can't be good. Instead I bought a bit of silicone hose, some 2,5" metal pipe and some evil type jubilee clips, so now the crap will stay in one piece!
