I have finally mounted the undertray! Fantastic... The last weeks I have also gotten the time to modify and mount the cover that sits in front of the watercooler, and inspected the car with 100% approval! Not a single remark on the protocol. The only thing i did was to cover the intake manifold with body-coat-painted foam rubber, so that it shouldn't shine so much. Don't think it was really necessary though...

Found a new time for inspection in Valdemarsvik the 5th of october. The only free time they had until february... Pure hapiness!

Made som aluminium covers for the turbo to hide under, and polished it, turned out pretty OK!

Installed the short shift kit this weekend, BIG difference! The lever feels like it should have felt from the beginning, tight and nice.

Went down to kalmar to continue the search for the error, and found the fault quite fast; no.1 cylinder's ignition wire was a bit tired. Borrowed a wire from QUL and went back home again!

Got the breather sytem togehter now, replaced some jubilee clips and vacuum lines, but the car doesn't run very well. have searched for errors but haven't found any, it misfires when above 0.8 bar boost. Will check it out some more as soon as i have the time!

Fetched the car last weekend, so now it's home at last... Fully driveable, but the mapping is far away from good for the current engine setup. Goes rich in one rpm and lean in another. Pretty noisy to, with only one 3.5" apple racing muffler. The next thing I'll do with the car is getting the breather system togehter.

The car has been tested some more and some stuff has been adjusted. Has tried to raise the fuel presure and lower the boost pressure but the exhaust temp still rises when you do a pull over the gears. Will put a 044 pump in tank for now, as it can be the old pump that doesn't cope with the higher flow and higher fuel pressure. Then some supporting has been done to the throttle hose, because it popped off. Well, now it won't pop of anymore...

Okaay... The car wasn't finished until emmaboda. 1 o'clock in the night we gave up with a half-built exhaust system and an unstarted car whit no front parts. There has been some work done to it the last two weeks and it has also been test driven... The exhaust system is to be adjusted a bit and another mapping will be tested, then it should be finished for this year...
