Nothing has happened...not even what were supposed to happen. I was just going to get a professional polishing of the car and put it in the garage over the winter. Now it's been standing in the driveway for two months and all I've got is a battery freezed to death... Some day I may got the energy back to get something done.

Today I've been to the state inspection and it worked fine! A bit high on the HC but after some "inspired" driving to heat up the cats it worked just fine.

No...I haven't replaced the tweeter.... but i have fitted the glove compartment and the panel under the steering wheel! And...nothing else. It's low season for jobs on the car right now.

OK, now all of the stereo equippment has found its way into the car, well almost, Because i' have been to lazy to replace that tweeter... besides that I'm tweaking the settings on the P99 to get some good sound! I gained up the amplifiers a bit but got some nasty interference so i had to turn it down a bit. Audi IS a pain in the ass when it comes to ground interference. But I think the power that comes out of them amplifiers will be enough to blast the front speakers (or my ears) to the moon anyway... Then I've fixed the alarm, after an hour of error searching they found a cable behind a panel that was completely cut off! Strange...but i got away cheap - thanks Bra Ljud I Bil! The only things remaining now is to get the famous tweeter into place, the glove compartment and the panel below the stearing wheel, and some panels for the speakerbox in the trunk! Beside all the tweaking, that is...

Finally I've gotten the thumb out of my ass and refitted all the wiring for the stereo. I hope to get rid of the ground loop interference that I had before... It didn't took so much time as I expected, and it looks neater with the kick plates in place! i just have to decide if I should use my 4"s or not. Anyway I have to replace my right tweeter, its slightly "not-so-very-healthy" right now...

Idiot-fan! I cheched the fan connector and it showed that there was power in it, so of course i thougt the fan was broken! Man was I supprised when i connected it to the Golf battery and the crap started to spin! Okay... With some 5-56 in the connectors and some violence it now works. Anyway, the fan is in place again along with some new coolant, and some new angine oil....and the police had some things to say about my test drive...

Okay...the cooling fan is DEAD. Damn that german who came up with the idea about how they were going to fit it. My hands are sore and I suffered a psychic trauma just to get the crap loose. I also had to order a fwe litres of cooland that just HAD to leave the system in the process. hade to dismount half of the engine just to reach the fu..er!

Not much has happened...I'm on vacation! Got the new taillights in place with some "negro bubblegum" during the first weekend of my holliday, and fitted the trunk interior. Then i smacked the Hohenester chips into the box and since then I have just driven the car! Or well, I have also fixed the electric window, fitted the inner door handles and fixed the door lock pin ...man am I good or what!
What is worse is that the car is getting mean at me again; the rear left wheel bearing is starting to make a noise, the cooling fan doesn't work and the cam cover gasket has an ugly leak... Well, it'l all be good some day. Gotta smack some people in the face so I get some pictures of it too!
The car has also gotten a taste of the roads on Gotland... Christ, the whole island is like a big racetrack!

I've got a pair of brand new taillights! I got so tired of paint that i bought a pair... And Erik/QTD has been nice no lend me some Hohenester eproms that will be put in the ECU when i get the time! I've had some other stuff to fix this week; The golf started to leak fuel, I broke i tire on it, my cellular is half dead, the thunder killed my phone at home...IRRY!

I got pissed off and removed the strut myself. A bit irry because the steering arm were stuck in the outer end so i had to loosen it from the engine bay. The reason for the loose shock was that the top nut wasn't tightened! Great... I have also removed the rear lights for some red paint, the old one looks awful with all the bugs and raindrops in it...
